Easter Spoolie Swap

I participated in a swap @ 521 Lake Street hosted by Sandy!  My swap partner was Yvonne @ White Painted House . I went to the post office and to my surprise a huge box was given to me.  I felt like a little girl ready to tear into the box, ha ha! Yvonne ready out did herself. My box of Easter happiness was full of all these goodies!  Every thing Yvonne sent I absolutely adore!! Thank you Yvonne for allowing me to experience child like wonder again!! Sandy, thank you for hosting again a wonderful swap!!

My New Fur Baby

Hope everyone had a great week end.  Mine went by too fast.  This is my new fur baby, a long haired chihuahua named Tia, isn't she a cutie?

Before and After Chest of Drawers

I got this chest of drawers for twenty bucks! I had to sand on it to remove stickers, but what a great deal.  I made some chalk paint in a light grey and painted it to match my son's room.  I also distressed it a little.

Spring Break Fun

I have been very busy this week. My oldest son, Kinkaid, came to visit with my grand baby, Amberlyn.  I so enjoyed our visit.  They went back today and I cried like a big baby, not so much of his returning home.  I was crying because he has turned into such a fine young man and wonderful father. I also cried because having him home brought back so many fond memories. I sometimes miss my boys being small!

What I've Been Doing!

I can not believe it has been this long since I have posted.  Sometimes life happens and we can not do the things we truly enjoy.  I had a sick family member and had to help take care of them, not that I mind at all, but I always love to blog and have not had an opportunity to do so.  

I got this small china cabinet/hutch at a venders mall and got a chance to redo it, I have not finished it, but you can see my progress.

BEFORE..too much clutter!

AFTER...painted, I still have to replace the drawer pulls and knobs. 

Think I will replace with glass.
