I love all of the goodies she sent me and her cake box is absolutely stunning, my pictures does not do the cake justice. LOVE IT!! Thank you Michele, if you have not visited Bliss Angels or Nook and Cranny, you need to. They both have AWESOME blogs!

Thanks again Wendy for hosting and Michele for my wonderful goodies!!

Very First ATC

Wow, this was so easy.  This is my first time trying an ATC and it was so fun and simple. I see why people enjoy swapping these little works of art. I cant wait to make others, you can make these simple or very blingy! Now I am headed over to Art Joy Stuff to see if I can participate in one of her ATC swaps.  You can find her here http://www.artjoystuff.blogspot.com/ .  Wishing everyone a wonderful Wednesday!

Simple Vignette

No, this is not my Christmas Decor, I had these things laying around, so I decided to put this together until I can get my Christmas Decorations out of storage.  I can not believe I am running this far behind. I usually have my decorating finished by Sunday after Thanksgiving! Is anyone else having this problem?
I got this tree at the thrift store for $1.00, well I got 2. I like it in my cream pitcher.

I spray painted these acorns silver and sprinkled with glitter.

Silver spray painted acorns and pine cones with a handmade fabric rose.

My little burlap trees.

I am so ready to decorate for Christmas, but it was raining when I got home from work.  I put a pot of chili on, moved my side table to make room for my tree and set up this little display, so I did get a few things accomplished.

Thankful

This time of year I like to reflect on all that I am thankful of:

God, without you I would not have come this far in life.

My Mother, she is a strong, hard working woman, who had two - three jobs, sometimes,  just to provide for she and I.

My Dad, for showing that forgiveness and time mends the heart, you make me laugh about the simple things in life.

My Sons, Kinkaid and Kane, so proud of how you have turned into wonderful young men.  I could not have asked for better children.

My Grand baby, Anberlyn, how I fell in love with you the moment I saw you and what great joy you bring to my life.  With just one smile from you, my heart melts.

My Friends, you guys giving me the support and encourage, good times, and insight that every one needs.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Thrift Store Finds

I actually paid $6.38 for these goodies at my local Thrift store.  What a steal!!  I did not have good lighting when I took the pics, so please excuse, but you can get an idea of what I got.

Lots of possibilities for the iron candle holder.

Bag full of tiny tiles, I see a mosaic in the future.

I'm sure I can find some use for this.

Another elf to add to my collection, maybe I'll do an elf tree one year!

2 vintage bird ornaments, they are in rough shape, maybe I could revamp them.

Cute Santa book.

Cute Snowman book.

Very cute Angel book.  I could read these to my grandbaby and then use the graphics out of the books or just keep them....?

last, but not least....this little book speaks to me, I ADORE it.  This little book reminds me of my childhood

even the inside of the cover is sweet..
look at the the cute details

maybe I had a book like this, or maybe its the birthday card that my mother gave me one year, that I still remember.

Thrown together Thanksgiving Decor

I literally threw these items on the side-board table!  Took down the Halloween and put in some Thanksgiving.  I do not like how this turned out, but I was determined to put some things up for Thanksgiving.  Hopefully I will get more time to redo this table, lol!

Flower Fairies

I was inspired to make these after looking on Etsy.  I would love to make dolls for my grand daughter.  These however looked easy enough to make, plus I had everything in my stash to make these.  Free and Easy!  Although I may have to buy some Christmas flowers to make Fairies and Angels!!

Wishing everyone a great week end!!
