Happy Mother's Day

Wishing every Mother, a wonderful Mother's Day.

It has rained here all week end, but I have enjoyed the softly falling rain.  I stepped outside today and I have found my first rose bloom for the season.  This is special rose.  It almost died, and as any mother would do I attempted to save it and make it thrive.  

Grandbaby TuTu

Here are the tutu's I made for my baby granddaughter.  She is modeling them while making her new facial expressions.  Of course I took 50 pictures, but I'm sure you didn't want to see that many pics,

 so I picked out a few, lol.

Bench Make Over

I got this table, they called it, at a yard sale for $10.00.  I'm going to use it as a bench outside.  I panted it with home made chalk paint, it is a lavender color.  I Love chalk paint!  I can't wait until I can get outside and place it in it's semi permanent home, because I move things around all the time!

Yard Sale Finds



I went to a few yard sales this week end and here are some of my treasures I came home with.



$1.00 for this crate thingy, I'm going to paint this.





$5.00 for this slipper/sewing rocker, it is on the small size, very cute!  At that price I had to have it.  Maybe an antique, not sure.



Last, but not least $20.00 for this set, and I will be fixing this up also!

Vintage Gown

 I went to the thrift store yesterday and found this vintage gown and vintage slip.  They were only one dollar a piece.  What a score!  I looked the gown up and on Etsy it says it is a 1940s or 1950s gown and it had a pretty pricey price!  do you guys know anything about Vintage clothing?  I really like the vintage gowns and slips, but I do not know much about them.

I love the details on this.
